Cubs Chef Badge Skills session Sevenoaks Scouts with Shiny Kitchen 13th March 2021

FreeFrom 1pm to 2:30pm Zoe will cover the theory side of the cub’s chef badge. In the same session, Cubs will cook cheese and pepper puffs. Cubs will also need an onion as well as the pepper in the recipe – both of which can optionally go in the puffs.
Cubs should have an adult nearby to supervise.
Both Skills and cooking sessions can be completed online with Zoe too – see dates in March/April for all sections
For Cubs to achieve their chef badge they need to complete a cooking session and a skills session or provide evidence to leaders to cover the theory section of the badge. Please see the full badge requirements using this link. Cub Chef badge requirements

Cheese & Pepper puffs Ingredients
- 1 pepper (colour doesn’t matter)
- 1 egg
- 125ml milk
- 150g self raising flour
- 200g grated mature cheddar &/or paprika if you do not like cheese
- a knife
- a chopping board
- a large mixing bowl
- wooden spoon
- a dessert spoon
- 2 flat baking trays
- greaseproof paper
