Jerk Chicken or Tofu plus Banana fritters

Come and cook Jerk Chicken/Tofu with Banana or Plantain fritters with our head chef Zoe from Shiny Kitchen! The session will start at 4pm on Friday 9th April, aiming to finish by 6pm.
This meal is aimed at Scouts and Explorers but if you have an older very confident Cub 10yo+ they are welcome to join too. Join in to enjoy the cooking &/or for badge work.

- 1tsp ground cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2tsp dried thyme
- 2tsp dried parsley
- 1tbsp paprika
- 1 stock cube
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger
- 1 lemon
- 500g chicken/tofu
- Vegetable oil
- 400g tin kidney beans
- 400ml tin coconut milk
- ½ tsp mixed spice
- 1 bunch spring onions
- 200g rice
- 1 mango
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 lime
- A knife
