From 10am to 11:30am  Zoe will cover the theory/skills side of the Scout chef badge. In the same session, Scouts will cook cheese and pepper puffs. Scouts will also need an onion as well as the pepper in the recipe – both of which can optionally go in the puffs.

Scouts should have an adult nearby to supervise.

Both Skills and cooking sessions can be completed online with Zoe too – see dates in March/April for all sections

For Scouts to achieve their chef badge they need to complete a cooking session and a skills session or provide evidence to leaders to cover the theory/skills section of the badge.  In addition all Scouts must produce their own menu for a weekend camp. • 1 pepper (colour doesn’t matter) 
• 1 egg
• 125ml milk
• 150g self raising flour
• 200g grated mature cheddar &/or paprika  if you do not like cheese
