Scavenger Hunt

Challenge your Beavers/Cubs/Scouts/Explorers to take part in a scavenger hunt at home during the virtual meeting. You could assign points for each item gathered or even a prize.

Below is a sample list of items you could ask YP to gather (Edit for your age range). You may want to give this entire list at once or give them a few items at a time. You could even challenge them in groups rather than individuals to encourage teamwork to see which team can find the list between them first!

• A Paperclip
• A Safety Pin
• A Roll of cellotape
• A napkin
• A Toilet roll 🙂
• A duster
• A spool of sewing cotton
• A screw
• A newspaper
• A sticking plaster
• A pair of chopsticks
• A postage stamp
• An Original TV remote (Not your set-top box)
• An alarm clock
• A shopping receipt
• A rubber band
• A Crayon 
• A 9v square battery (don’t disable the smoke alarm)
• A post it note
• Your favourite toy
