Head Chef Zoe from Shiny Kitchen will be covering skills section and a meal for the Scout Chef badge over 2 sessions.

There are two parts to the Scout Chef badge.   (Note this badge can be earned twice once indoors & next time outdoors!

• Session 1 – Practical skills e.g. kitchen/knife skills and safe cooking. Plus as an extra this session will include cooking cheese & pepper puffs!
• Session 2 Cook a 2-course meal. All dishes can be reheated or frozen if not wanting to eat at these times. (note you need to complete session 1 to go on to session 2)

Please only book to attend one skills & one cook session to allow all Scouts in Sevenoaks a chance to attend. If you wish to be added to a reserve list for a further session you are welcome to fill in the form again.

Session 1 – practical

1. Tuesday 16th – half term – 5-6:30 pm
2. Wednesday 17th – half term – 11:30-1 pm

Session 2 – to cook!

1. Thursday 18th – half term 4:30-6:30 pm – Cook Curry and chocolate mousse
2. Friday 19th – half term – 4-6 pm – Cook Sweet and Sour and cheesecake
3. Sunday 28th – midday to 2 pm – Cook roast chicken and pudding

Older Cubs aged 10+ may book any session 2’s to cook, provided they have completed the Cub skills sessions.

Older scouts 12yo + can also book a further 3 hour session on Sunday 21st  see separate form to cook an Indian Feast. More info Here…

You will need to provide evidence of completion to your own group

Each session will need an assistant chef at home – we recommend an adult is also present.
